Call for Workshops 

Pre-Conference Hands-on Tutorials and Workshops

📍University of East London, Docklands Campus

ICASA 2026 invites proposals for Hands-on workshops to be held on the first day of the conference. These sessions aim to provide participants with in-depth, practical learning experiences led by internationally recognised experts in the field.

Workshops are expected to focus on cutting-edge technologies, methods, or applications aligned with the six main tracks of the conference 

 

Session Format

  • Half-day sessions (3–4 hours) or Full-day sessions (6–7 hours)
  • Interactive and practical content: hands-on exercises, demonstrations, or live experiments are strongly encouraged
  • Sessions will take place in equipped computer labs on campus
  • Tutorials should be designed for an audience of 10–35 participants

 

Proposal Guidelines

Each proposal should include:

  • Title of the Workshop
  • Abstract (max. 300 words)
  • Relevance to ICASA 2026 themes and audience
  • Intended learning outcomes
  • Duration (half-day or full-day)
  • Presenter(s) information (name, affiliation, CV, contact details)
  • Description of hands-on or interactive components
  • Any specific equipment or software requirements

 

Important Dates

  • Proposal Submission Deadline: 15 March 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: 15 April 2026
  • Workshop Date: 3 June 2026
